1. "Brasis", in portuguese, is the plural of the word Brazil . Brazis means more than one "Brazil" and Seu Jorge describes the various "Brazils" in the lyric of music . The good things and the bad ones. Things that give pride to the Brazilian people and so many others that shame us. And by the simple fact that the things we have ashamed are winning the fight against the things that make us full of pride, that they began street demonstrations, demanding from the country's rulers that the balance can tip to the things that give pride.
2. “Balacochê” term widely used until the 1960s by people from the most popular layer of the city of Salvador, Bahia, whose expression meant waddle from "the hip of mulatas" that went up and down the hills of the city.
3. “Mulata” mixed race woman, born from white father and black mother, or from white mother and black father.
4. "Nissei" is the second generation of Japanese immigrants. The son of the Nissei, born in America, is a “Sansei”, where "-san" means the third, ie, the "Issei" is the first generation, the "Nissei" is the second, and the third is "Sansei".
5. “Mameluco” in Brazil means individual who owns an indigenous and white ancestry. Or is mixed race son of white with indigenous; mamluk.
6. "Cafuzo" is the name given in Brazil to individuals resulting from miscegenation between indigenous and black Africans or their descendants. Mixed race's individuals with a very dark skinned, almost black, but with straight hair.
7. “Pindorama” derived from the Tupi-Guarani (indigenous language), the word Pindorama means "Land of Palms" and tells the story, that this was the name by which the natives called Brazilian land before discovery of Brazil by the Portuguese.
